When and where is everyone's first competition this season?

We're starting really early this season. Our first comp is September 8th at Great America, Chicago Six Flags.

wow! That is early. Our first competition isn't until October 28th. It's Jamfest MegaJam in Dekalb, IL

This Saturday at the KY state fair. Then again in early October.

Showcase mid-November, first comp (as in, first EVER for my tiny) 1 December! Can't wait!

Same. And I'm kind of getting antsy about it. I just want the dates and comps.

Mid November a showcase and forst competition UCA Regionals beginnign of December.

Uhhh we don't even have a full routine yet or music for half of the gym and some of you are competing already?

I remember CP's first comp as a mini...I literally felt like I was going to burst I was so excited and proud! Enjoy!

It never ceases to amaze me how it all comes together right before that first comp. CP's is two months away - no uniforms, no music, no pyramid yet and I am not the least bit worried.

My gym has had choreo for two of our teams for over a month, and had music shortly after choreo.. And we still don't compete till October.. I think competing now is too hard! Especially since most kids miss summer practices!

There's only 3 more weeks until our first comp. We don't have our uniforms, music, and we haven't worked on the pyramid yet. We have to wear our practice wear to the first comp.

Our showcase is November 10th & our first competition is Dec 1st

Same here, Jamfest Megajam in DeKalb is UA's first competition as well.

And, joy, it's in my all time least favorite venue... Home of the Hairspray Police! No food, drinks, hairspray, or any liquids allowed into the venue. They search all bags upon entry, and the only food and drink allowed is that which is purchased inside the arena.
