Cheer Favorite Moments During Worlds 2012

I remember there was a thread like this last year. I wanted to start one for this year.
Lets try to keep it positive, it would be nice to have a worlds thread that doesn't get filled with drama.

On that note, even though I wasnt there I have some favorite moments:
1) The chat is always so much fun, love having other people to talk with who are stuck at home also.
2) Waking up literally just in time to start getting texts that Angels hit perfect day three.
3) Chatting with [USER=16807]ForeverYoung[/USER] in chat, literally loved having someone pulling for OA as much as I was

I know I'll have more but I need to go to class. I already skipped this class last Friday to keep up with small senior.

They had somewhat of a rough start - more than they wanted obviously - but they stuck together and pulled thru, with their goal of top ten

. They learned a new dance Sat morning (after watching Royals compete) at the venue in the upper area of champions stadium to increase their dance score from Fri to Sat. Then had a delay on Saturday due to a medical emergency. Then Sunday was a madhouse at the Fieldhouse - but they made friends in warmups and had a dance party lol - and came out and hit their routine to a packed house, and seeing the support they had brought tears to my eyes - so we could not be more proud of them

Cali Smoed not only hitting day 2 but outscoring even themselves! They were on fire this weekend.
And the live feed. I know some people had issues but I didn't and I loved being able to see everything as it was happening instead of waiting for that oh so slow vod loading process. ( side bar large sr at 6 am west coast time on a Sunday? CRUEL!)

Orange and Smoed winning- probably my two favorite routines ever. SOT winning, despite the fall. And Smoke hitting perfectly Saturday.

F5 day oneeee

Every routine was my favorite at Worlds because all teams have worked so hard just to get there!
However of course there is going to my some extra favorite moments

- My babies Senior Elite taking home the gold for the 2nd time!

- Panthers proving their the tea! Jumping from 4th to World Champs. Duh!

- Stars bringing back their old dance! Out with the old, and in with the new.
- F5 new uniforms, can you say perfect?!
- IOC6 Unity Black representing all us back home placing 5th! The British are coming.
- And finally, the sportsmanship presented by our talented ladies. Watching the Medium Senior awards and everyone getting their claws out for panthers, and everyone putting their 5's and WC's in the air for the Large Seniors.

5. SSX going out and hitting two AMAZING routines that gave Orange and Cali a run for their money. SO proud!
4. Panthers jumping from 4th to 1st winning back to back World Championship Titles!
3. Cheetahs winning Large Coed! Best LC routine this season by far! Gotcha

2. GT Pink Ladies hitting 3 OUTSTANDING routines, and Winning Worlds... again!
1. Senior Elite, beating out the fierce competition, and bringing home their 2nd World Championship ring. No matter what anyone says, these ladies worked so hard, and they deserved it.

This year's Worlds was incredible, aside from all the drama and unplanned craziness (awards in the baseball field). I can not wait til I get to go in person, and experience this all first hand. I love this sport. Congratulations to all the new World Champions, and here's to an outstanding season.

Everything about SMOED!

Seeing every athlete on my cp's team in tears after hearing they were in first after day one and then placing second to Panthers one of her all time favorite teams. Then seeing her reaction when a girl from WE asked to take a picture with her! She said this was the best weekend of her life lol

Meeting the NICEST women from Crimson Heat 5 Alarm during the break on Sunday- they taught me how to do some type of line dance (and only laughed at me a little bit when I was incredibly uncoordinated).. seriously, the nicest moms I've ever met.

Obviously i'm really happy for the US teams etc but my highlight would be seeing Unity Allstars Black in IOC6 taking 5th!
