Cheer Cheersport Tips For First Timers

We get a shoe tag comp every once in awhile. I feel like they were more common a couple years ago.

How do you register for a parking pass? I can't find it anywhere

1. The parking available on-line is close and covered
2. This parking will no longer be available when we arrive on Saturday and Sunday
3. It most likely will be cold and dark when we leave the competition.

1. Click on the “P” for online parking permits
2. Select General Admission
3. Select Cheersport 2012 National Championships
4. Select Saturday and Sunday 2/18-19
5. Indicate how many cars you are purchasing 2-day Red Deck parking for (Red Deck is the only one currently listed, this is the best spot!)
6. Complete payment
7. Print your Permit
8. Put a note on your calendar that your paid parking permit is in your car’s glove compartment
9. Put It In Your Car’s Glove Compartment

i checked the wiki and parents packet but didn't see if you can bring drinks/snacks in?

I believe you can... Well, I did last year. I'm not rich enough for comp food ANYwhere haha

So where's everyone staying?

It's against GWCC policy. But as long as you don't roll in a cooler, I don't think it will be an issue.

I'm staying at the Sheraton and I wish that it wasn't so far away so my mom wouldn't have to pay for a parking pass ): even though the hotel is downtown it feels like an hour long car ride when shes nagging about how much it is to park... lol

It might be quicker (and cheaper) walking from the Sheraton. The traffic is always crazy down there.

it looks like a super long walk though lol. or i think we might ride some sort of train/bus . But if it's nice down there then the walk might not seem that terrible.

We stayed at the Sheraton back when we were still at KE and walked it. You're young, you can do it!

We're staying at the W this year. I wish we were staying at the Loews again!!! I loved that hotel <3 I especially loved seeing Mario Lopez in our hotel and the same time as us!

Have fun! I only ever got to compete there once, but I still love going to watch my little sister and all the amazing teams

If you are a coach, expect to pay around $10 for the food in the coaches hospitality area. :-/

we are staying at the Sheraton Galleria, there's a bunch of us staying there and we are driving in.

lol - i just want to really bring in a couple of waters and cp is a mini so she keeps snacks in her cheer bag. i can picture someone rolling a cooler in though!

Our awards ceremony was in the early evening and they didn't have many left.
